The Story So Far

After working in a fast-paced, corporate environment for the last 14 years with very few breaks (other than to have my two children) I have taken the exciting opportunity to retrain as a complementary therapist. It has been an amazing experience and I have become very passionate about helping people to lead happier and healthier lives.

The significance of the cherry blossom?

“A cherry tree blossoms for just 2 weeks a year. In Japanese culture the blossom represents the fragility and the beauty of life. It is a reminder that life is overwhelmingly beautiful yet comparatively short.”

I have a cherry tree in my garden which always blossoms with the most beautiful fragile flowers in April every year. Before having my children, I used to have the time to sit on a blanket underneath the tree with a good book, I remember sitting by the tree heavily pregnant on my birthday waiting for my first born to arrive and then every year after watching her running and playing around the tree on her birthday.

Here at Cherry Blossom Wellbeing we aim to help restore balance and enable you to reach optimal health and wellbeing. Although time passes so quickly, the stress of life and everything that is damaging to our mental and physiological wellbeing can be greatly improved by taking time out to relax, re-energise, restore and remember the beautiful things in life!

Stress can manifest itself as physical, emotional or spiritual discord, especially in today's world of social media and digital burnout where we struggle to stop and listen to the warning signs our bodies send us. By taking time out to regularly maintain our bodies, we become less prone to stress and illness.

Cherry Blossom Wellbeing is a holistic therapy business in Derbyshire offering relaxing treatments in a peaceful, woodland cabin and corporate wellness packages both onsite and in the form of wellbeing retreats.
